Curation raises $3m+ to build the retail Investor Relations OS for listed companies

Round led by VEON, with strategic backing from other corporate and individual investors. The funds will accelerate AI product development for the 60+ listed companies already using Curation, and help the company scale to serve a large and fast-growing pipeline. In addition it will enable a scaling of skilled technical staff and enable the Company to facilitate its US expansion.

London, 1 October 2026. Curation, the retail Investor Relations OS for listed companies, has closed a $3m+ seed funding round. The round was led by VEON, the Nasdaq-listed global digital operator, and their new and existing investors. The round was significantly oversubscribed.

Retail investors now directly own 38% of the US equity market [Goldman Sachs, 2025], yet corporate investor relations remains built almost entirely for institutions. Curation exists to close that gap, giving any listed company the infrastructure and tools to reach, engage and measure its retail shareholder base.

The retail IR gap

Most listed companies today have no reliable way to identify who their retail shareholders are, engage with them directly, or measure how their disclosures resonate. Legacy channels like regulatory wires, quarterly calls and investor relations websites were built for an institutional audience, and they leave up to half of the potential investor base in the dark.

Curation replaces that stack with a single platform:

  • Owned investor newsroom. Always-on video, written and conversational AI content, trained on regulated disclosures and designed specifically to inform and engage retail investors.
  • Distribution engine. Leverage an issuer’s existing, typically under-reached, investor audience, alongside Curation’s ~100,000 monthly users and compliant brand awareness campaigns to reach new investors at scale.
  • Retail intelligence. Retail investor and shareholder data that lets IR teams see who they are reaching, on which channels, and what content is driving engagement.
  • Attribution and measurement. Closed-loop reporting from content view through to attributable impact, so IR spend can finally be justified with data.

Use of funds

The funding will be used to:

  1. Grow the team across AI, product, retail marketing and equity capital markets with world-leading talent.
  2. Deepen the product suite, including its proprietary models for regulated corporate disclosure, next-generation AI video and retail investor intelligence.
  3. Expand into the US, opening a US office in 2027, to serve US-listed issuers.

Quotes

Nick Finegold, Founder & Executive Chairman of Curation, said:
"Retail investors have become one of the most powerful forces in global markets, and most public companies still talk to them the way they did two decades ago. Often they don't talk to them at all. That is a failure of communication on a massive scale, and it is fixable. Curation gives any listed company the technology to speak directly, intelligently and responsibly to every shareholder on its register, not only the institutional ones. This round tells us the old model is finished."
Nirav Karia, Co-Founder & CEO of Curation, said:
"We're building the operating system that lets a one-person IR team run a retail programme that used to need an agency, a wire, a video crew and a data provider all at once. More than 60 listed companies are already using Curation, and the pipeline tells us retail engagement has moved from a nice-to-have to a board-level priority. This funding lets us go deeper on the AI, launch in the US, and onboard the next wave of issuers who understand that owning the relationship with their shareholders is now table stakes."

Why now

Retail participation in listed equities has stepped up sharply since 2020 and is now a policy priority on both sides of the Atlantic. Rapid development in AI technology has, at the same time, made it possible to produce compliant, high-quality retail investor tooling for IROs at a fraction of the cost and time of traditional agency providers.

Curation is the first platform built specifically for that world: an AI-first, retail-first IR stack that treats every shareholder as an audience worth serving, not only the largest.
